DONATION PROGRAMS OF DARÜŞŞAFAKA

Companion Program Darüşşafaka offers its students an educational environment where they can discover and develop their talents for 8 years, and graduates each of them as young people with 21st century competencies. You can cover the 8-year education expenses of the number of students you determine and be their “Companion”.

Darüşşafaka Looking for Parents Program Within the scope of this program, you can become Darüşşafaka's Alumni, Double Diploma, Cornerstone Donor, and have your name or the names of your loved ones written on the donor boards of the Darüşşafaka Society, by making donations either at once or over time. Education and training expenses of one of our students; • "Our Parent Donor" by covering 60.000 TL, • When your donations reach a total of 250.000 TL over time, you will become our "Our Four Year Parent Donor" by supporting the education expenses of one of our students until their secondary school graduation. • “Our Alumni Donor” with 500.000 TL, • “Our Double Diploma Donor” with 1 million TL • “Our Cornerstone Donor” with 5 million TL • “Our Founding Donor” with 20 million TL

Personal Long-Term Asset and Scholarship Fund (Endowment)

With the return of the principal fund created in the name of the donor, the expenses of at least one student studying at Darüşşafaka are covered throughout their entire education life. Regular income is created for Darüşşafaka with this fund, whose income is received as donations every year without touching the principal.

CHILDREN OF DARÜŞŞAFAKA WILL BE THE PRIDE OF OUR COUNTRY THROUGH EDUCATION

Darüşşafaka Society, one of the first non-governmental organizations in the field of education in Turkey, has been continuing its existence with the mission of "Equal Opportunity in Education" since 1863.

Darüşşafaka provides qualified education opportunities to talented children whose father or mother is dead, who have insufficient financial means; It raises leaders who are committed to Atatürk's principles, who are lifelong learners, who have adopted universal values, who are self-confident and who are aware of their responsibilities towards their country and society.

Today, nearly 1.000 of our children from all corners of Turkey, who are determined by an exam, receive full scholarship, boarding and English-based education in Darüşşafaka, starting from the 5th grade until they graduate from high school.

All expenses of students such as education, clothing, nutrition, accommodation and stationery are covered by donations made by philanthropic individuals, institutions and organizations to the Darüşşafaka Society.

Darüşşafaka Society, which continues its scholarship support to its students throughout their higher education, supports the education life of a child for 12 years.

All the opportunities provided to our children at Darüşşafaka Educational Institutions are covered by donations made by charitable individuals, institutions and organizations to the Darüşşafaka Society. With the support of countless people and institutions who are passionate about the bright future of our country, such as Atatürk's mother Zübeyde Hanım, his sister Makbule Atadan and his adopted daughter Nebile İrdelp, and master storyteller Sait Faik Abasıyanık, the Society offers our children a new life through education.

The annual expense of a student studying at Darüşşafaka Educational Institutions in the 2023-2024 academic year is 420.000 TL. This;

• 185.000 TL for Education (Educational materials, teacher expenses, tablet, laboratory, national and international competitions) • 155.000 TL for Boarding (Food, shelter, health) • 80.000 TL is Parental expenses (Social and cultural trips, clothing, pocket money, road assistance). By supporting Darüşşafaka's donation programs, no matter how small or small, you can add new ones to the stories of life that have changed through education since 1863.

School First, Education Always

The "School First, Education Always" campaign, which was launched after the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş and Hatay to provide qualified education opportunities to more children from the region, aims to rebuild Darüşşafaka Educational Institutions to increase the capacity of living and education areas and to bring the campus of the information age to our country.

By supporting the "School First, Education Always" campaign, you can contribute to the eight-year full scholarship, boarding, qualified education opportunity provided by Darüşşafaka to 100 children affected by the earthquake in the 2023-2024 academic year, to be provided to other children from the earthquake zone.
